Our story
We were tired of waking up tired.
So we spent three years building the pillow we wished existed — and we're not done until you wake up without the ache.
Why we started Noozly
I bought four “orthopedic” pillows before I gave up and built my own.
For most of my forties, I woke up with a knot in my neck and a dull headache that took until lunch to fade. I blamed my desk, my age, my mattress. Then a physical therapist asked what I slept on — and pointed at the pillow.
So I did what skeptical people do: I researched. I bought the memory-foam one everyone raves about. It went flat by 2am. The “cervical” one held my head at a strange angle. The expensive down one was lovely for a week, then it was just… a pile of feathers. I’d spent close to $400 and still woke up sore.
I met Dr. Lena Okafor, a sleep ergonomist, at a clinic open house, and we started sketching on a napkin: what if a pillow had different support zones for the head, neck, and shoulder, instead of one uniform blob? Three years, dozens of foam prototypes, and a lot of grumpy mornings on test pillows later, we had the 6-zone contour. The first night I slept on the final version, I woke up and just… got up. No knot. That morning is the whole reason Noozly exists.
What we stand for
Better rest, engineered with care and made to last.
We make a small range of sleep products and obsess over each one — support that follows your body, materials that hold their shape for years, and a calm, natural design you’ll actually want on your bed. No gimmicks, no fifty SKUs. Just things that help you wake up like a person who slept well.
Why this won’t be your fifth disappointing pillow
We built Noozly against everything that let you down before.
Designed around your spine
Six support zones keep your neck in line with your spine — the alignment principle a flat foam slab can’t deliver.
Materials that don’t go flat
High-resilience foam that springs back night after night — tested through the equivalent of eight years of sleep.
Calm, considered design
Natural tones and clean lines, because the thing you rest your head on shouldn’t look like gym equipment.
We answer the phone
A real US-based team that helps you pick a loft, swap it if it’s wrong, and actually replies. No ticket black holes.
The people behind Noozly
A small team in San Francisco
Real humans who lose sleep over your sleep — here’s who picks up when you call.
Spent 15 years in product design and four years buying bad pillows. Still tests every prototype on his own neck.
Sleep ergonomist who co-designed the 6 zones. The reason our claims are grounded in posture, not marketing.
Hunts down foams and fabrics that last, and visits the factories that make them. Hates anything that goes flat.
The voice on live chat and the phone. Has talked hundreds of skeptical sleepers through finding their right loft.
